Water Droplets

This work titled Water Droplets, is a acrylic painting using various hughes of blue to portray rain hitting the surface of the ocean. Painted in a way to make the viewer feel as though they are in the ocean also experiencing the rain drops fall on them, I want this painting to evoke emotion and lean less on formal realism elements and more on emotion through colour and composition. With the composition of the work being so close to the waters surface, the viewer is able to experience the various ways in which the waters surface takes the impact of rain drops.
